Colorful Finches

The male goldfinches are once again adorned in their golden plumage.

The male house finches are brighter too.

The female is lovely in her own humble way.

Springtime in the Garden

It is finally spring and I am once again spending time outside every chance I can get. Lately I have been cleaning up the gardens, sowing seeds and planting plants. I have been taking photos of what is blooming and trying to identify the pollinators visiting these early blooms.  If you don't see regular posts here at this blog, please take a look at Hortus Conclusus, my gardening blog.
